Heard of Kunal Sah?

Heard of Kunal Sah? He hopes to win the National Spelling Bee champion this year. But that is not why he is in the limelight. It is the story of his parents and their deportation to India that is making the rounds. Kunal’s parents were deported to India after his father lost his political asylum case in the USA. Kunal, who was born in America lives in Utah with his uncle, while his parents live in India.
Kunal’s story has been making the rounds in various newspapers and today his story was featured on the front page of The New York Times.
BTW, participating in the National Spelling Bee is a big thing among the desi community in the USA.
