Video of Microsoft’s Surface + Paul Murphy on Innovation

Earlier today, well actually yesterday since I just noticed it is pushing 2 PM. Anyway earlier today I was at Microsoft’s Office in Mountain View. This is the first time I visited their campus here and did not realize how big it is. I was there to meet and interview Paul Murphy, Director of Innovation for Microsoft India. Paul and I had met and spoken a bunch of times and he was gracious enough to make time during his jam-packed schedule to meet with me.
While we were headed to the conference room, I suddenly noticed this low glass topped coffee table with a beautiful screen saver like screen and realized that I was staring at the Microsoft Surface computer. Now, this was something I had been wanting to see in-person and it was quite amazing that I literally stumbled upon it. It turns out it was the first time that Paul had also clapped his eyes on. Microsoft Surface. We took a quick, short video clip of Paul checking out Microsoft Surface, which is really cool.
I recorded a great interview with Paul about innovation, entrepreneurship and how Microsoft is helping and fostering that in India. That interview will be up and running later this week. So, do watch out for that. It is quite amazing when I found out the extent to which Microsoft is spending its energy to foster a spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship in India.
