I will be attending the annual BlogHer 2008 conference at the Westin Hotel in San Francisco from July 18-19th, 2008. This year the conference organizers are also hosting a pre-launch mixer for first timers and I hope to make it the mixer since this is my first time attending BlogHer.

The conference appears to be a nice mix of topics and issues ranging from basics of blogging, how to tweak your laptop, how to syndicating your content, entrepreneurship to beauty makeovers. Another way of looking at the agenda is that the organizers have factored inĀ  all kinds of women bloggers from mommy bloggers to those who don’t have children to professional bloggers to newbie bloggers. Here is what BlogHer agenda looks like. It is no wonder that this year’s BlogHer is a sold-out event.

What I love about this event is the amount of information, tips and advice that various bloggers are finding time to share with others. What clearly comes through is the great sense of community among the bloggers. I guess this is what makes this conference a little different and helpful when I compare it other technology conferences that I have attended.

I will try to have a couple of interesting interviews and videos from the conference and hopefully I can edit and load them in a timely fashion. I am still backlogged from my TiECon event and am still working on videos from that event.
