Slumdog Millionaire won 4 Golden Globe Award for best picture,  best director, music and screenplay.
British director Danny Boyle won the award for directing this independent film, film composer AR Rahman won the award for best musical score and Simon Beoufy won for the best screenplay based on Vikas Swarup’s novel Q&A.
