TiECon 2008 starts in a few minutes and the first keynote speaker is Peter Thiel, founder and president of Clarium Capital Management. Prior to this Thiel was c0-founder of PayPal that was acquired by eBay. Thiel was an early investor in Facebook, the red hot social networking company.
