Micky (Muktesh) Pant talks about marketing, Reebok’s Terry Tate advertisement for Super Bowl 2003, and his mother Shivani, a noted Hindi writer, who passed away in March 2003.

Micky grew up in Nainital in Uttaranchal. After graduating with an MTech in Chemical Engineering from IIT-Kanpur, Micky joined Hindustan Levers in 1976, and has spent 30 years in marketing. He helped found Reeboks’ India office, and eventually became the Chief Marketing Officer of Reebok. And it was as CMO of Reebok that Micky became well-known for the Terry Tate linebacker advertisement for Super bowl 2003. The success of the advertisement propelled Micky into the spotlight.Recently, Micky joined as CMO of Yum! Brands, Inc. the world’s largest restaurant company with 35,000 restaurants.More about the Interviewee
Micky is an avid jogger, and it was his interest in jogging that landed his job at Reebok. He was employee number one at Reebok, India, and helped build the company and its brand in India.

Dear sir i am a simple fan of your mother , I really adore the books written by her . In apr 1999 I had been to Lucnow later in jan 2003 in Delhi but is was my misfortune that inspite of my extreem wish I was unable to see or meet her this guilt will remain with me always . If it is possible for u , can u mail me her some of snaps of her childhood , young age and the later one even with the family of yours , I will be highly obliged and greatful to you . If you are not able to do so I wont mind I downloaded some of her pictures from the site but i want more . Thanks a lot God Bless u and your all near and dear one
