Ben Rekhi is an upcoming film producer, director and screen writer, whose film Waterborne made its debut on Google Video in January 2006.
Ben is part of Drops Entertainment, a film production company that was established in 2003.His first feature film was Bomb the System that was followed by Waterborne and his recent one is a comic film titled CarBabes. The film is in the can and Ben plans to be traveling the film circuit with his new film.
Growing up in Silicon Valley, Ben dabbled in creating home videos in his backyard, and by the time he was in high school he and his friend Peter Wu had managed to produce an hour-long feature film. He joined New York University’s film school and during the course of his studies managed to intern with the Coen brothers production of O Brother, Where Art Thou? Ben also worked in a behind the scenes production of George Clooney’s film Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.
Ben’s ambition is to produce a full-length film on a story that he has been working for five years now. The story is centered around the garbage collectors of New York.
Kamla Bhatt is the host and producer of an Internet Radio show where listeners can find stories about the new and emerging India and the global Indian community. As a pioneer of 'internet radio' format in India Kamla started her first show News about India, followed by TalkNewsIndia in 2005. In 2006 she premiered her new show: The Kamla Bhatt Show: Life, People and Ideas.
