Arun Katiyar is CEO of SEraja, a Web 2.0 company based in Bangalore, India.

In this interview Arun talks about SEraja and its technology. The company provides users an easy to use publishing tool to publish events and make it available for others to comment, tag, blog, and add new information to an existing event. SEraja wants to help change the way users search for information. The company wants to give users a rich experiential multimedia, contextual search experience.
SEraja is the brainchild of Prof Ramesh Jain of UC Irvine, California. Rajesh Jain is an investor in the company.
Arun is a multi-faceted personality who has worked in the publishing space for two decades. He was the COO of India Today Group Online and helped establish the company’s web presence. He has been the Station Director for Radio City, a Bangalore-based private FM station.
An early convert to Internet technology Arun made a career move into the IT industry a few years ago when he worked as VP of technical support for Microland, a leader in remote IT infrastructure management. Arun has also produced a rock album for CBS, and written a book on Bombay titled: Bombay: A Contemporary Account. The photographs for the book are by Namas Bhojani. Arun is a blogger and his blog is called MarginalPost.
Arun lives with his family in Bangalore.
