MindTree Consulting’s Ashok Soota talks about intellectual capital and human capital, and its importance for his company.
This interview was recorded at the Asia Society in New York in October, 2006, where Mr. Soota spoke about his company and the elaborated on the concepts of intellectual and human capital.
Mr. Soota’s philosophy towards life and work is perhaps best captured in his perspective on culture: ” I believe that every MindTree team member lives by our DNA of “Imagination, Action, and Joy.“
Mr. Soota co-founded MindTree Consulting in 1999 in Bangalore, and the company has grown at a fast clip since then. MindTree has raised two rounds of funding since it was founded: $9.5 million in August 1999 and $14.1 million in August 2001.
The company is planning on going IPO in early 2007.
