Pete Deemer is the Chief Product Officer of Yahoo! India R&D. Pete has been in India for a year now and works out of Yahoo! India’s Bangalore office.
We caught up with Pete to talk about India, product development, Bangalore, traveling in India and Bollywood. Find out how he made a transition from an editor and publisher of Lets Go Travel Guides to Information Technology. Naturally, we asked for some travel tips on India. We also wanted to find out more about product development and Agile Software since that is what Pete teaches at Yahoo! India. Find out what he has to say about Bollywood, and his favorite actor.
Pete relocated from Yahoo’s Sunnyvale office to Bangalore in 2006. At Sunnyvale he was VP, Product Development and before that he was senior VP at C|Net/ZDNet. Prior to that he was one of the co-founders of GameSpot.
