In Part-III Mr. Sayani talks about his Hit Parade show. Nobody in India had heard about a countdown show until he started the first one for an Indian audience. How did the idea for Hit Parade of India start? How did they managed to go through thousands of fan mail? They had to go through every single letter and preserve it. It was a lot of hard work and dedication that made Mr. Sayani a successful broadcaster.
He worked hard not only at producing a radio show, but also reading his fans mails and improving his accent.Mr. Sayani talks about how he cleaned up his accent for his Hindi and English programs. He went through a cleansing process to sound like a Hindi-speaking person.
Kamla Bhatt is the host and producer of an Internet Radio show where listeners can find stories about the new and emerging India and the global Indian community. As a pioneer of 'internet radio' format in India Kamla started her first show News about India, followed by TalkNewsIndia in 2005. In 2006 she premiered her new show: The Kamla Bhatt Show: Life, People and Ideas.

I cannot thank you enough for giving us this lovely conversation with Ameeen Sayani, Part 3. Most enjoyable. For the amount of hard work that had gone into making the Geet Mala a runaway success, and personally attending to the mounds of mail that kept pouring in , it is really sad to note that Ameen-ji was paid only Rs.100/- for years. In spite of that, what emerges so powerfully, is his absolute humilty and the incomparable grace with which he accepted, what Radio Ceylon thought was his due.
Do we have such people today?
Kamla, despite the link you sent me yesterday, which allowed me the pleasure of tuning in to part 3, Part 1 continues to be missing. Please help!
