Kiran Karnik: Product Innovation and Startups in India

There is change in the air in the Indian IT and tech sector. Over the past few quarters activity around product innovation and startups in India has clearly increased.
I caught up with Kiran Karnik, President of National Association of Services and Software Companies (NASSCOM) to get his thoughts about the Indian IT industry, the challenges of doing a pure-play product company in India and funding for startups. What is Nasscom doing to act as a catalyst and help innovation and startups in India? Kiran points out that Nasscom is working on creating a $25 million fund to help companies in India.
