Meet Prabakar Sundarrajan, who helps VC firms like Clearstone Venture Partners and others evaluate their business plans.

He is the “go to” person for VCs and entrepreneurs, who are focused on building large scale mission critical infrastructure either in the US or in India. He looks at new ideas and helps whet them and find out where big opportunities exist.

Some questions Prabakar answers are about the new trends and opportunities in Silicon Valley and India. Are there opportunities at the intersection of IT and Cleantech? Prabakar is also involved with Erasmic Ventures, an early stage seed fund that is located in Bangalore, India.

Prabakar is currently CTO of the application group at Citrix. Prior to that he was the CTO of Netscaler that was acquired by Citirx. During the dotcom boom Prabakar was part of the early team at Exodus, which was a pioneer in the global web hosting and infrastructure space and a poster boy during the dotcom boom.

A seasoned technologist Prabakar studied engineering in Madras and University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
