In this interview Dr. Chopra talks about God, reading, writing, USA in the 1960s, life and death. He takes us back to his childhood days and growing up inNew Delhi, India. And then in the 1960s he moved to the USA to study and practice medicine. What was 1960s USA like, which was going through a whole lot of change – this was the time of Woodstock, flower power, the hippie movement, and the start of the Hare Rama Hare Krishna movement.
Never at a loss for words – we wondered just like his son Gotham Chopra did in the film Decoding Deepak. Is Dr. Chopra ever at a loss for words? So, we too asked him.
“Are you ever at a loss for words?”
“I sell words for a living. That is what I have done all my life,” was his response.
