Deepak Srinivasan

Adviser – Marketing, Strategy

Deepak Srinivasan is a proven entrepreneur, mentor and product innovator, who has spent the last fifteen years in the arena of consumers, devices and interactive media. He has has been a mentor to Kamla since the start of her show. As a sounding board and as a strategist he has worked hard to constantly test and validate Kamla’s prescience and enthusiasm for a variety of new media strategies. Besides crafting the Life, People and Ideas mark he helped direct what proved to be an award winning site design. He currently advises on the Show’s business development and syndication strategy.

Deepak has served with both large companies such as 24/7 Real Media (acquired by WPP) as VP of Product Management and startups such as ShareWave (Cirrus Logic), Elcom Technologies Inc and Mobiance, a mobile location-based service company. He co-founded Enscaler Inc., a provider of middleware, applications and services for rights managed and secure streaming media.

An ardent aviation buff, Deepak has an B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering from IIT, Kanpur (’85).






Anand Agrawal

Adviser – BD and Interactive Experience

Anand is a technology and product development enthusiast with a strong passion for web/mobile, media and entrepreneurship. 

At The Kamla Show, Anand advises on business development and syndication strategies to media companies in India and elsewhere. He also helped design and develop the end-to-end user experience for the Kamla Show. The Show won the 2008 PC World Web award for the “Best Designed Online Radio Site” for its design and user-friendly interface. His knowledge of Web 2.0 products, markets and lifestyles have not only been critical to the success of the Show’s operations but in its ability to keep its audience engaged.

Anand is currently serving with a technology company in Bangalore. Prior to this, Anand helped incubate C-Drive HR Services – a web2.0 recruiting company focused on clean tech and bio tech. At C-Drive, Anand helped define and shape a strategy for creating an offline/online recruitment model based on the idea of “visibility without identity” and launched C-Drive’s first product offering in April 2008. 

In the past, Anand has also worked with the product management team of Mobiance Technlologies, an IIT Bombay incubated startup providing mobile location-based services. Anand graduated in 2006 with a B.Tech in Information and Communication Technology from DA-IICT in Ahmedabad.

The Kamla Show presented an interesting challenge for WebVAAsi. The system had to work both in high bandwidth, fast response markets of North America, and  deliver effectively on dial up and lower bandwidth connections. The host’s (Kamla) multi-media presence meant that integration across audio, video and blogs had to be enabled without taking away the sites quintessentially radio experience. We delivered and PC Magazine India declared the site as the best designed blog for 2008.
