Jason Sussberg shares how he and David Alvarado came up with the idea to make their documentary Bill Nye: Science Guy. The filmmakers pitched the idea to Nye to make a film on his life and legacy and his fight against anti-science. Nye is on a mission to educate adult, especially millennials on the importance of science. Many of them grew up watching Bill Nye’s science program on TV.
