WOMEN IN SCIENCE & TECH: JYOTSNA KAKI

Jyotsna Kaki is a program manager at Google, where she works with the central  accessibility testing team. Kaki shares her journey on how she lost her eyesight while she was doing her undergraduate studies. She had to relearn a lot of things and also got interested in how technology can be made accessible for differently abled people. Kaki left no stone unturned in order to achieve her goal and makes a strong case for having faith and determination in one’s ability to succeed. You have to keep trying she says. “Unless you believe in yourself, no one else will believe in you,” says Kaki.

This is a highlight of a longer interview with Kaki from our Women in Science and Technology series. This episode is sponsored by Genentech.
